September 2022 Update
September is the prime opportunity time to visit Park City, Utah. Balmy by day and chilly by night, highs in the Wasatch Range are in the 70s with lows in the 40s. Park City’s weather isn’t the only thing that’s temperate this time of year however. There are plenty of activities on the mountain and around town. Whether you’re looking for adventure, arts or a trip the entire family can enjoy, you’ll find it in a Park City September.
Mayflower Mountain Resort
The Mayflower Mountain Resort will be North America’s newest world-class alpine village to be developed since 1981. This Extell development is located within a MIDA Project Area and is located in northern Wasatch County, Utah, next to the esteemed Deer Valley Resort.
The Village will include ski infrastructure with up to five new ski lifts allowing skiers and mountain bikers access to extensive terrain, both summer and winter, while overlooking the stunning Jordanelle Reservoir.
This reimagined resort village concept will feature three new luxury and lifestyle-branded hotels, and more than 1,000 private residences ranging from estate lots to luxury condominiums. The development will also include a walkable commercial zone that is, in overall length, comparable to Park City’s Historic Main Street. Lifts, runs, snowmaking infrastructure, and initial lodging buildings are currently being designed and constructed, with the first lifts expected to be operational by the 2023-24 ski season. The new resort will add over 1,000 new skiable acres to the area.
Situated on a hillside adjoining Deer Valley Resort® and offering direct ski access into Deer Valley Resort®, Marcella offers a recreation-rich selection of luxury ski-in/ski-out homesites at North America’s newest mountain offering, Mayflower Resort. With striking area views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and Utah’s mountain ranges, Marcella will be a place to escape the ordinary and relax while still enjoying the finest recreational offerings and area amenities. This planned luxury community offers just 151 single-family estate lots with convenient ski access through both public and private trails, along with on-site snowmaking and grooming of all private trail access. In the summer months, residents will have near-endless options for biking, hiking, and water sports on the Jordanelle .
Life at Marcella means easy proximity to a completely new, reimagined resort village concept at Mayflower Resort that will feature North America’s largest ski beach, a fine array of beverage and dining opportunities, spas, rentals and abundant retail spaces. Mayflower Mountain Resort is soon to be a premier ski destination, while residents of Marcella will be nestled into the heart of this new style of relaxed, luxury living.
What's Happening Around Town?
Sip and sample brews from over a dozen Utah breweries at the inaugural Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival on September 17 and 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This one-of-a-kind beer festival includes scenic chairlift access throughout the resort, dining, live music plus a full slate of activities.
Park City Song Summit redefines the live music experience. By design, it creates an environment for musicians to share, learn, and recharge their passion for music through community and the power of song while giving fans direct access to artists — exchanging insights and illuminations via intimate panel discussions and inspiration through song.
Unlike other music gatherings, Song Summit is a place to examine the struggles and breakthroughs that artists face on their creative journey.
