South of Old Town lies the region leading to Deer Valley Resort's base. Condos dominate the landscape, but several luxury single-family homes are also in the neighborhood. They each have unobstructed 270-degree views of Deer Valley Resort, Park Meadows, and Park City Mountain Resort.
Deer Valley’s Expanded Terrain represents a long-awaited evolution of the resort experience. For the 25/26 winter season, guests will enjoy more than 4,300 acres of skiable terrain served by 10 new chairlifts, including a 10-person gondola, along with enhanced skier services at the base area. This expansion more than doubles the size of the resort while maintaining a limited daily skier count and preserving a ski-only experience. Venture Beyond represents the largest increase of skiable terrain in resort history, featuring 10 new chairlifts—including a gondola—and nearly 100 new ski runs designed for all ability levels. Skiers will enjoy access across ten mountain peaks, with terrain that includes numerous bowls and gladed areas, perfect for a variety of experiences. In total, the resort will offer 32 chairlifts and 209 ski runs spanning those peaks, with an impressive 3,120 vertical feet from a summit elevation of 9,570 feet. It will also be home to one of the longest ski runs in the country, stretching just under five miles. The expansion will roll out in phases beginning in the 2025/2026 season, introducing 10 new chairlifts and 100 new ski runs.

Deer Valley Resort offers a unique skiing experience. Ski in perfect conditions across 2,000 acres of varying terrain and slopes. You can also ski with an Olympic skiing champion. Skiing with one of these athletes can be a half or full-day experience you and your friends and family will never forget. At Deer Valley Resort, the top freestyle skiers in the world compete in the Freestyle International Ski World Cup during winter. In this event, you will see athletes twisting, flying, and racing their way to the podium.
